Big idea: Global Warming, Pollution Control, Science content, social awareness
Overall goal: To have students research about global warming and the effects that pollution plays into global warming. To ultimetly have students produce a presentation about the research they have gathered.

Target audience: a second or third grade class
Big idea: Rainforests, preservation, science, life cycle
Overall goal: To have students research about the destruction of the rain forest by having up-to-date pictures of the forest by searching for them on google earth. To have students prepare a presentation in the research they have found and also to learn more about preventation of the destruction of the rain forests.
