Will McConnell Reflection #5

www.brainpop.com
This website looked like the most interesting and fun site for kids to learn with. It uses videos and interactve games to help them learn the science concepts that are essential to developing young science minds. The videos are fun and entertaining, they use a man and his robot sidekick to tell the viewers how and when the science applies to certain situations.

This website is very similar to the first one in that it is geared for younger elementary students and is very interactive. the videos that the website has are very informative and fun to watch.

My final website is one that is less geared towards a younger audience, but is still very effective in reporting on science happenings around the country. Whats even better about the site is they use VIDEOS to show the reports. One example of a video the site had posted was about baseball's Coors field in Colorado, it was talking about why so many homeruns are hit in that particular stadium. They later go on to explain that it is because of the less dense air up in the rocky mountains. The site explains the science of the situation.....very interesting.

Thats all for now!!!! keep it real.
