Target audience: 2nd grade
Big idea: Save the rainforest!
Overall goal: Tech students about the need to preserve the rainforest. Introduce the idea that the forest provides much of the world with oxygen, as well it houses many endangered species.
Standards:
2.4.2 Observe that and describe how animals may use plants, or even other animals, for shelter and nesting.
2.4.3 Observe and explain that plants and animals both need to take in water, animals need to take in food, and plants need light.
2.4.4 Recognize and explain that living things are found almost everywhere in the world and that there are somewhat different kinds in different places.

Target audience: 4th grade
Big idea: Fractions
Overall goal: Students will be able to add and subtract fractions
Standards: Example: 4.2.8 Add and subtract simple fractions with different denominators, using objects or pictures.

3)
Target audience: 1st grade
Big idea: awareness of community, canned food drive
Overall goal: Teach students of poverty in the community, have all students bring in canned/non perishable items to give to less fortunate.
Standards: 1.5.3 Give examples of how people show concern, respect each other, behave responsibly in a group, and resolve differences peacefully.
