Elyse, Resources

http://www.christiananswers.net/kids/vidclips.html this website has many video clips of animals. This is a good website for teachers to use because it is interactive for the children and there are lesson plans to help the teacher.

http://school.discovery.com/ontv/videoclips.html this website has a wide variety of video clips. You can choose the type of video you want to show by subject area. This website also has ideas for teachers about differnt teaching tools and lesson plans.

http://pbskids.org/curiousgeorge/video/ this website has educational videos about how kids learn about things. At the beginning of each clip there are drawings of Curious George. Students can play games while teachers can find good activities to use in the classroom.

Elyse,
good websites!!

Thanks for the second one, I'll create a discovery channel for schools account later. Very cool.

The last one is also very interesting. There are many activities. Also the first one: those very short video clips give me an idea - maybe teachers could have a group of kids shoot a short clips by using digital cameras when they go to a zoo or field trips and put them online.
